Financial Analyst (Canada Summer Jobs)

Role and Responsibilities
Support financial risk evaluations and forecasts for affordable housing projects.
Financial, operational, and governance analysis of proposed investments and developments, assessing risk and with the support of the team, providing analysis and conclusions;
Assist in developing capital and operating budgets for housing projects.
Monitor cash flow during the development phase of projects.
Contribute to the creation of detailed financial reports and housing recommendations.
Support the procurement process for project consultants, builders, and stakeholders.
Conduct research on housing policy and assist in preparing data-driven recommendations.
Collaborate with project teams, architects, construction firms, financial institutions, and municipal officials to meet project objectives.
Help ensure project deadlines are met and housing initiatives remain financially viable.
Salary: $20/hr, 30 hours per week, 12 weeks
Contract Type: Fixed term – Full-time, flexible start date, May/June 2025 to July/August 2025
